Radiopharmacy: Saxony focuses on stronger networking within the ecosystem

Under the motto “Expanding value creation – strengthening the radiopharmacy ecosystem in Saxony,” more than 120 participants from science, industry, clinics, and networks gathered in Dresden on October 28 and 29 for the “Hi-Tech meets Life Sciences Forum.” The first day of the event focused on specialist presentations on topics such as the production of clinically relevant radionuclides, the development and approval of radiopharmaceuticals and their use in hospitals, radiopharmaceutical logistics, and corresponding technology solutions. Insights into other European networks and institutions were provided by the presentation of the Belgian radiopharmaceutical cluster Rad4Med.be and the work of the European Organization for Nuclear Research CERN. Various networking and matchmaking formats as well as the evening talk show “Hot Spot Saxony – How Radiopharmaceuticals Are Finding a Home Here” rounded off the forum.

The HZDR Innovators School was partner of the event und supported it with a booth.
